DEATH OF GERMUND JOHNSON.....Born Mar. 4 1830 in Vestra Enby, Sweden; married in 1854. Five children of this union, all now living; Christina, of Salina; Victor of Ill.; Charles and Carrie of Burlington, and Annie, of Kansas City.....He came with his family to this country in 1896 (?). His wife died in Feb. 1875 and the following winter he married Miss Ida ERICKSON, who survives him. To them five children, one boy dying in infancy. Oscar, the eldest, is married and lives on the home place. Theodore and Esther are still at home, and Mrs. Ella SMITH resides on a farm nearby. The subject of our sketch died May 2 1899 at his home near Glasgow. He had been a member of the Swedish Methodist church for many years.....Remains laid to rest in the cemetery near Salina.....
