May 15, 1895, 7-2.DEATH OF ERICK PETER ANDERSON, An old and respected resident, at his home, two miles northwest of Four Corners on the 8th of May. Born in Sweden in 1810, where he grew to manhood. Came to America and to Jefferson County in 1845. Like all other young men who came from foreign countries, he had to work for wages for a while, but he soon bought himself a small farm and as times got better with him he would buy more, until at the time of his death he had quite a large farm. Married in 1852 Miss Louisa ANDERSON; eight children, five of whom are still living: Andrew E., Simon P. of Gothenburg, Nebr.; Levi A. of Fairfield; Susan and Frank at home. M.E. Cemetery. Deceased was in his 82nd year.
