Mrs. Peter J. JOHNSON, 80, longtime resident of Jefferson County, died Sunday at Memorial Hospital in Mt. Pleasant. For the last four years Mrs. JOHNSON had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Helen LEE, in Mt. Pleasant. Behner Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Sweden Lutheran Cemetery near Four Corners.

The former Dorothea NELSON, born Feb. 12, 1884, in Jefferson County, daughter of Solomon and Clara FREEBURG NELSON; married Peter J. JOHNSON April 2, 1908; he died Feb. 21, 1958. Member Faith Lutheran Church, Mt. Pleasant.

Survived by children: Carl L. JOHNSON, Hillsboro; Donald K. JOHNSON, Crawfordsville; Willard B. JOHNSON, Stockport; Mrs. Helen LEE, Mt. Pleasant; Claire L. JOHNSON, Mt. Pleasant; 19 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Mary HASTIE, Mt. Pleasant. Three daughters, one son, four brothers and two sisters are deceased.
