Obit. J. P. ANDERSON, one of Jefferson County's pioneer Swedish citizens, died at his home in Salina Thurs., Feb. 8.

Born in Blackstad Smolon, Aug. 4, 1819, came to America 1848, making his home in Iowa. In 1851 went to Calif., returning to Jefferson County 1853. Helped organize and build the Swedish Lutheran Church at Four Corners in 1853, which he joined and remained a faithful member until 1892, when he helped organize the Salina Swedish Lutheran Church.....
