MISS CORA M. DEXTER DIED THIS MORNING.

Many friends were shocked to learn of the death of Miss Cora May DEXTER, who passed away this morning at 8:40 o'clock at her home at 502 North C street after a two weeks' illness with congestion of the lungs.

Miss DEXTER was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. John DEXTER and was born in Cedar township on January 3rd, 1884. Her mother preceded her in death a number of years ago, and since that time she has taken care of the home for her father. She also leaves to mourn her loss one brother and sister, Wm. E. DEXTER and Mrs. Mattie E. CORNELL, both of Fairfield.

She was a faithful member of the Methodist church and throughout her life lived in accordance with its teachings. She was affiliated with the North Side Rebekah lodge. Many friends will extend their sympathy to the sorrowing family at this time.

The funeral arrangements have not as yet been completed.

Transcriber's note: Miss DEXTER's mother was Matilda 'Tillie' MOUCK & her father was John DEXTER - JEFFERSON COUNTY MARRIAGE Record #5088.
