Samuel WISECARVER, a resident of this city since 1865; Funeral Friday afternoon at 2:30 from the A. C. WISECARVER home. Interment Evergreen.
Survived by eight children: Mrs. W. H. COOPER of Ottumwa; Mrs. David SNYDER, Denver, Colo.; W. H. WISECARVER, Los Angeles, Calif.; J. E. WISECARVER, Platteville, Colo.; Mrs. Frank CHEDESTER, H.E.; I.T.; and A. C. WISECARVER.
Samuel WISECARVER was born in Waynesburg, Pa., in 1818. In 1842 he was wedded to Mary Ann WILSON, and in 1865 they came to this city. Here they raised their family and here both resided until death, the wife dying in 1891. Some years later, deceased was wedded to Mrs. Elizabeth STOUT, who survives.... Death came Tuesday, Nov. 17.
