ANOTHER PIONEER GONE. In the death of Mrs. Jane McKEE, wife of David McKEE, which occurred in this city Sunday night, at 9 o'clock, Jefferson County pioneers see another vacant place in their ranks. Mrs. McKEE was a native of Ireland, and was in the 89th year of her age. She was married to David McKEE, who survives her, in that country in 1821, and came to the United States in 1826, living for some time at Pittsburgh, Pa.. In 1839 the family removed to this county, settling on a farm on Walnut Creek, six miles north of this city. Here they resided until 1853, when they removed to this city.
To Mr. and Mrs. McKEE five children were born, four of whom are yet living -- David S., near this city, W.S. on his farm north of town, Alex. at Centerville, and Mrs. Jane MILLER in Story County....
