DEATH OF DAVID McKEE, a resident of Jefferson County since 1839, and of Fairfield since 1852, at his home in this city early Friday morning. Native of Ireland; immigrated to the United States in 1831. Eight years later came to this county, entered a tract of land in Penn township and resided on it until his removal to this city. He was twice married, his second wife, Miss COMEGYS, to whom he was married only a few years ago, survives him.

Four children, all by his first wife, and all of whom are advanced in years, are yet living, two sons, David S. and William S., residing on farms in this county.... He was an excellent man and citizen and in the community in which he had lived so long bore the friendship of all who knew him. He was 84 years of age.... Remains interred in the City Cemetery.
