WATSON W. UTTZ DIED IN WASHINGTON, D.C.. Word has been received in the city of the death of Watson W. UTTZ (Co. E, 2nd Iowa Inf. Reg.) who suddenly passed away Saturday in Washington, D.C.. The remains will be brought to this city Wednesday morning for burial in the Evergreen Cemetery....

Mr. UTTZ will be remembered here by many of the older residents of the city, for the greater part of his life was spent here. It was only last Old Settlers Day that he paid this city a visit, and many friends here will regret to learn of this death. His wife, who will be remembered here as Miss Mollie BLAKEMORE, was buried here last Christmas Day. The only child born to them, Harry UTTZ, died when a small child.
