FORMER FAIRFIELD RESIDENT PASSED AWAY JAN. 1.

Brig. Gen. Harry Harrison Chase DUNWOODY, 90, former chief signal officer of the U.S. Army, died at Interlaken, N.Y., Sunday according to word received here by friends. Burial services were held today. Gen. DUNWOODY is a former Fairfield resident. He was born and raised at the place where the Fred L. MASON home now stands, 602 N. Court St.. He will be remembered here by some of the elderly residents of the city.
