Mrs. Elizabeth Jane COCHRAN... died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Millah (sic - Willah) CHANDLER Sunday morning about 9 o'clock. Maiden name was Elizabeth LYNCH and she was born in Lexington, Ky., Mar. 5, 1831, moving to Illinois at the age of five years. She came to Iowa Oct., 1845, and later to Fairfield. Married George COCHRAN of Glasgow Dec. 16, 1849. He died Aug. 13, 1901. Mother of six children. Those now living are Mrs. J. H. ALLENDER of Birmingham, Mrs. Millah CHANDLER, C.C. and U.S. COCHRAN of Fairfield; 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren....
