Dr. W. M. GLENNY, a prominent physician and citizen of Albia, died at that place Friday after a brief illness. He had been in practice there for nearly a third of a century. Dr. GLENNY was married to a daughter of John MOUNT, formerly of this city, and was well known here in earlier days.

Note: Dr. William M. GLENNY served in the Civil War, first as Hospital Steward in Co. E, 10th Iowa Volunteer Infantry; later as Assistant Surgeon in 35th Regiment Iowa Infantry. His address was Fairfield when he enlisted Oct. 27, 1862.
