DIED -- In Fairfield, Iowa, on Tuesday morning, June 9th, 1863, after a painful illness of Congestion of the Lungs and Brain, Annie Edyea Jane, wife of Charles C. SCOTT, aged 19 years, 1 month and 3 days.

"Farewell, dearest wife and sister,
Thou art gone to rest in love;
May we meet thee in the Eden
Of eternal life above.
Sweetly rest and softly slumber,
In the cold and silent tomb;
May we embrace thee in bright Heaven,
When our Saviour calls us Home."
