Mrs. Phoebe WALTON HORN was born in Washington County, Pa., Oct. 30, 1829... Aug. 9, 1847 she was married to Mr. John HORN, who preceded her to the eternal home Feb. 27, 1897.

Eight children, five of whom are living: Dr. M. L. HORN of Muscogee, Indian Territory; J.M. of Fairfield Township; George R., the present efficient auditor of Jefferson County, and the Misses Lidia A. and Emma B. HORN of this city... Fell asleep in Jesus Sunday, Dec. 31, 8 P.M., age 70 y. 2 m. 1 day....
