MORE THAN HALF A CENTURY IN FAIRFIELD. Mrs. Elizabeth COOK HOWARD died in this city the 23d ult.. Born in New York City Mar. 11, 1827, left an orphan at an early age. With two sisters and a brother she went to Butler Co., Pa., and grew to womanhood there. In 1849 with a brother, William COOK, she came to this city. Married Levi HOWARD two years later, Feb. 18, 1851... in a house which stood on the site now occupied by the residence of Ed. HUNT, only a door from the home in which she died.
Four children, two sons and two daughters, only one of whom is now living, E. A. HOWARD, the well known business man of this city. Methodist Church...
