DEATH OF WILLIAM SHADFORD. Many of the older residents of Fairfield will be pained to learn of the death of William SHADFORD, which occurred at Stewart, Ill., December 13th. Mr. S. came to Fairfield in 1855, and this city was his home for many years. He was a well known local preacher in the M.E. Church, and a most excellent man. Native of Hull, Lincolnshire, England, and came to the United States in 1829. His age was eighty-five years.
