MEETS TRAGIC DEATH. Wilson Grant STEPHENSON, son of the late Daniel STEPHENSON, killed while working at railway construction in the west.

Deceased was born in this city Apr. 13, 1864, and grew to manhood here. He left this city aobut 20 years ago. His parents are both dead but he leaves two brothers and a sister, Mrs. Lavina SNYDER.

STEPHENSON died on the morning of the 16th inst., from the effects of an injury to the head as a result from a rock blast. After rafting timbers down Snake River for more than a year for use in the construction of the Oxbow railroad tunnel without an accident to himself or any of his party, "Bill" STEPHENSON was stricken down last Tuesday by a rock blast while working in a grading camp about seven miles this side of Coopersfield..... He was brought to the hospital at Huntington by the construction train which was laying steel near the scene of the accident....
