Elmer J. LOGAN, retired factory employee, died about 4:40 p.m. Tuesday in an ambulance enroute to the hospital at Iowa City.... Burial will be in the Fairfield City Cemetery.

Born Oct. 17, 1895, at Bevier, Mo., son of John and Ann GREATHOUSE LOGAN. Reared and educated in Missouri. Married, May, 12, 1920, to Meryle LUDWIG, in Fairfield. Resident of this community for 36 years and was employed at the Louden Machinery Company for 25 years before his retirement. Member Eagles Lodge and the Methodist Church. The family home is at 406 W. Hempstead.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Dorothy, at home; three brothers, Howard and William of Ann Arbor, Mich., and John LOGAN, Des Moines; three sisters, Mrs. Frances LATOS, Warren, Mich.; Mrs. Lena BURRIS, Gillespie, Ill.; and Mrs. Mary WRIGHT, St. Petersburg, Fla.. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
