Rose DeCORETZ

The service for Rose DeCORETZ, 77, 306 W. Washington Ave., who died at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1995, at Jefferson County Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. today at Behner Funeral Home with William Pollak officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. A memorial has been established to Jefferson County Hospice.

Mrs. DeCORETZ was born Sept. 7, 1917, in New York City, the daughter of Aaron and Clara SEHALI SIEGEL. She married Abraham DeCORETZ on Feb. 13, 1941, in Monticello, N.Y. He preceded her in death. She had lived in Fairfield the past five years. She was a self-employed home-furnishings saleswoman in the San Francisco and Fairfield communities and was a member of Beth Shalom Synagogue.

Surviving are a son, Norman of San Antonio, Texas, and a grandson. Her parents and a daughter, Sharon BROWN, preceded her in death.

IN THE ESTATE OF ROSE DECORETZ, DECEASED:

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF ROSE DECORETZ, DECEASED, WHO DIED ON OR ABOUT FEBRUARY 21, 1995:

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 10TH DAY OF MARCH, 1995, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ROSE DECORETZ, DECEASED, BEARING DATE OF THE 17TH DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1995, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT IOWA STATE BANK & TRUST COMPANY WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF THE ESTATE. ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE THE WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN THE LATER TO OCCUR OF FOUR MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE OR ONE MONTH FROM THE DATE OF MAILING OF THIS NOTICE TO ALL HEIRS OF THE DECEDENT AND DEVISEES UNDER THE WILL WHOSE IDENTITIES ARE REASONABLY ASCERTAINABLE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ALL PERSONS INDEBTED TO THE ESTATE ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THE UNDERSIGNED, AND CREDITORS HAVING CLAIMS AGAINST THE ESTATE SHALL FILE THEM WITH THE CLERK OF THE ABOVE NAMED DISTRICT COURT, AS PROVIDED BY LAW, DULY AUTHENTICATED, FOR ALLOWANCE; AND UNLESS SO FILED BY THE LATER TO OCCUR OF FOUR MONTHS FROM THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE OR ONE MONTH FROM THE DATE OF MAILING OF THIS NOTICE (UNLESS OTHERWISE ALLOWED OR PAID) A CLAIM SHALL THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
