Funeral Service is Tomorrow Afternoon at Campbell HomeMrs. J. F. DEARDUFF (sic) died at her home, 303 West Kirkwood street, last evening at 5:00 o'clock. The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 from the Campbell Funeral home in this city. Services will be in charge of Rev. Fred G. Crown of the Baptist church. The members of Rebekad (sic) lodge will also have part in the ceremonies. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. DEARDUFF was 78 years old. She died from a complication of diseases, and had been quite seriously ill for some time. She is survived by her husband and was well known in Fairfield, having taken an active part in Rebekah lodge work here.
Mrs. DEARDUFF's maiden name was Margaret G. SCOTT, daughter of Mrs. Samuel SCOTT who lived near Abingdon. Mr. and Mrs. DEARDUFF were married September 18, 1878 in the SCOTT home. The couple spent most of their married life in Fairfield, and in 1928 celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Mrs. DEARDUFF spent her girlhood days near Abingdon until her marriage. She was one of a family of eight children. She has the following brothers and sisters: Louis F. SCOTT of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. R. F. COLLINS of Abingdon.

Margaret Genevieve SCOTT was born near Libertyville, Iowa Oct. 15th, 1853 died March 27th, 1933 at the age of 80 years, 6 months and 13 days. She was married Sept. 18th, 1878 to J. F. DEARDUFF and for thirty-five years they have been residents of Jefferson County.
She leaves to mourn their loss one brother, Lewis F. SCOTT of Denver, Colo. and her husband who resides at 303 West Hempstead Fairfield, Iowa and a host of relatives and friends.
When a little girl she united with the Methodist Episcopal church. She was a member of Rebecca Lodge No. 96 of Fairfield.
Funeral services was (sic) held March 29th from Campbell Funeral Home.
Rev. Fred G. Crown pastor of the Baptist church officiating.
Burial was in Evergreen cemetery.
