Mrs. Effie CAMPBELL, 95, died Wed. Mar. 3 1971 in Fairfield Convalescent Home. Gould Funeral Home at Richland. Burial in Friends Cemetery. Born Feb 3 1876 near Pleasant Plain, daughter of Wm. and Deborah Kendall PAXSON; married John CAMPBELL Feb 26 1896; he died 1931. Surviving are a son and daughter in law, Roy F. and Alice CAMPBELL of Brighton; two granddaughters: Mrs Terry (Kathleen) MCCLURG of Brighton, and Mrs Rex (Charlotte) HAGANS of Lake Oswego, Ore.; 5 grgrchn: Kathleen, Michael, Laurie, Barry and Shannon HAGANS of Lake Oswego, Oregon; three sisters-in-law, Mrs Ora PAXSON of Manor House Nursing Home, Sigourney; Mrs Nora PAXSON of Richland, and Mrs Elsie PAXSON of Glenwood. Three brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Member of Center Church, Packwood. After it was discontinued her membership was transferred to the Packwood United Methodist Church.
