DIED -- In Fairfield, Iowa, at the residence of C. W. SLAGLE, on Friday morning, Nov. 27th, 1863, Walter H. SMYTH, son of Ralph D. SMYTH, Esq., of Guilford, Conn., aged 20 years and 6 months. The deceased was a graduate of Yale College, of the Class of 1863.... After graduating he visited Iowa, hoping that change of climate would be beneficial, but did not find the relief he sought.
