Son of the late W.E. and Elizabeth C. GROFF, born June 13, 1861, on a farm 1½ miles southwest of Fairfield... April 10, 1895, married Edith CUMMINGORE of Libertyville... Leaves wife and three young daughters, also two brothers, Joseph C. of Nortonville, Kansas, and Ed H. of Sioux City and two sisters, Mrs. S. E. FRAME and Laura GROFF of this city.
