Word was received in this city Wednesday morning announcing the sudden death of Edgar M. FEE at Des Moines. No particulars were given in the dispatch, only that he was killed by a train. The dispatch was sent here to his mother, Mrs. Parmelia FEE. He was born in this county and was nearly 37 years old; had held various positions of trust and was in the Wells-Fargo and Co.'s Express up to January, 1898, at Dallas, Texas. His remains were brought here for burial yesterday evening and the funeral took place this morning.
