Virgil H. WINTER, well known Fairfield resident and high official in the Masonic Order, died suddenly this morning at his home, 504 N. 'B' St.. Heart attack. Interior decorator.

Born Jan. 23, 1905, in Fairfield, son of John E. and Elfie D. LONGERBONE WINTER; married Oct. 3, 1925, Helen DROZ... Methodist Church. Survived by his wife, his mother, Mrs. J. E. WINTER, Fairfield; and a daughter, Mrs. Robert LESHER, Tiffin. Ohio, and three grandchildren; also the following brothers and sisters: John, Alva, and Russell, all of Fairfield; Lawrence, Emerson, Iowa; Mrs. Marion MARR, Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Peter SCOTT, Casper, Wyo.; Mrs. Ernest CRAWFORD, Washington, Iowa. Was preceded in death by his father, one sister and one brother. (Bur. Evergreen Cem.)
