DIED. FULTON -- Near Glasgow, Jefferson County, Iowa, January 29th, 1880, Mr. James FULTON, aged 80 years. Mr. FULTON was born in Huntingdon, Pa., and subsequently removed with his parents to Baltimore, where he lived in 1812, at the time Lord Packingham threatened to bombard the city. From there he moved back to Pennsylvania, and from thence to Ohio, where in 1824 he was married to Miss Rebecca GREEN. He came to Jefferson County in 1850, and has resided here since that time.

There were 12 children in the family, five of whom are now living. His remains were brought to Fairfield for interment, which took place last Saturday afternoon. Mr. FULTON has two brothers and one sister living -- Alexander lives near Fairfield, and Robert and Mrs. Anna IMMELL live in Ohio. Two of the sons, A.R. FULTON of Des Moines, and James L., living on the farm with his father, and one daughter, Mrs. Eleanor CORRY, with the other relatives in this vicinity, were present at the funeral... Mr. FULTON lived long in the land... His aged and feeble companion, who has been a loving and helpful assistant for 56 years.....
