DEATH OF REV. S. C. McCUNE, pastor of the Fairfield Presbyterian Church from June, 1851, to January, 1865, at his home near Oskaloosa on Sunday morning, Jan. 31st, in his 77th year. Born in Cumberland County, Pa., Sept. 18, 1815. Graduated from Jefferson College in 1835. Studied theology at Hanover, Ind.. Licensed in 1838. For more than fifty years he was on active duty as a minister. For two years past he has been on the retired list....
