Obit. Mrs Susanna CARLSON, born in Jefferson County in the first Swedish settlement in Iowa, Oct 23 1851, daughter of John and Sarah ANDERSON her father was familiarly called “The King of Stockholm” by his friends. Her uncle, Rev. Mr. HOCKANSON, was one of the first Swedish Lutheran ministers in this state.....In 1873 she married Adam CARLSON.....Survivors. Interment in Grant Cemetery near Rome.
