DIED IN THIS CITY... On the morning of the 16th of June 1888, Mrs. Grace C. NOBLE, consort of Samuel NOBLE, Sr., in the 85th year of her age.
She was born in Holidaysburg, Huntingdon County (now Blair County), Penn., and was married to Samuel NOBLE of the same county in the year 1827. In 1845 they came to the Territory of Iowa and settled in the city of Fairfield....
Seven children, all of whom have passed to the invisible beyond, except one...

DEATH OF MRS. SAMUEL NOBLE. After a lingering illness of about nine months, Mrs. Grace C. NOBLE departed from this life Saturday morning, June 16th, at 7:30 o'clock. Mrs. NOBLE's maiden name was MAGINNIS.
She was born in Huntingtdon County, Pa., August 18, 1803. She was married in that county to Samuel NOBLE in 1837, and removed with her husband to Fairfield in 1845, arriving here December 3d. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in early years, but for more than 20 years has belonged to the Lutheran faith. She was the mother of seven children -- five girls and two boys. All the children are dead except Mrs. F. J. DAY.... The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the family residence, Rev. H.M. Lentz conducting the religious services. Her remains were interred in the old cemetery near the remains of two of her children....
