DEATH OF A GOOD WOMAN. Hannah A. BALL, wife of Solomon F. STEVER, died at her home west of this city Monday about noon... Mrs. STEVER was a daughter of the late Joseph BALL, the head of an early Jefferson County family.
She was born in Fairview, W. Va., July 2d, 1832, and her earlier years were spent there. The family removed to this county in 1854, and Mrs. STEVER spent the remainder of her life here, residing in the same locality practically all that time. She was married May 14th, 1857, and was the mother of eight children, six of whom survive her -- George F., John B., Charles T., Mary L., Ralph H. and Nellie V., all of whom reside in this county.
Members of her family residing in this state are Messrs. O.W. and W.C. BALL of this city, Mrs. Cynthia H. BURNS and Mrs. Anna B. LEWIS of Ottumwa. Mrs. STEVER united with the Christian Church in New Cumberland, W.Va., when fifteen years of age.... She was a woman of many virtues and excellences....

Hannah Amanda BALL, born July 2, 1833, in Fairview, Brook County, W. Va., 3d child and 3d daughter of Joseph and Margaret BALL. Married Solomon F. STEVER May 14, 1857. Six sons and two daughters. Willie Kirk died Oct. 14, 1871; Frank J. died Feb. 27, 1900.
