At the Jefferson County Hospital Where She Had Been Ill of PneumoniaMrs. Belle FLIGG, 405 East Hempstead street, widow of Charles E. FLIGG passed away this afternoon at one o'clock at the Jefferson county Hospital, where she had been ill with pneumonia since January 5th.
Mrs. FLIGG is the mother of Edward G. FLIGG of the Fligg grocery store. At the time of going to press funeral arrangements have not been made.

Rev. R. H. Polly of the Christian church will officiate and burial will be made in Evergreen cemetery(.)

From the Hoskins Funeral Home in Charge of Rev. R. H. PollyFriends and relatives paid their last respects to the memory of Mrs. Belle FLIGG, who died Monday afternoon, at the funeral services held this morning at 10 o'clock from the Hoskins funeral home in charge of Rev. R. H. Polly.
The pallbearers were men from the E. G .Fligg (sic) grocery store, which was closed today and they were: U. S. Cochran, Roy Hendricks, Keith FLIGG, Lawrence Roth, Gus Schillerstrom and Herbert Killon. Mrs. William Stever and Mrs. Norvell Switzer sang the songs, being accompanied on the piano by Miss Reva Patten. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. Belle FLIGG
Nancy I. HENDERSON was born Sept. 5, 1857 in the south west part of Jefferson county, Iowa.
She was the daughter of William and Sarah GRAHAM HENDERSON both deceased. She was married to Chas. E. FLIGG July 12, 1887. To this union were born seven children, the father and two children having preceeded (sic) her in death.
The following children survive: James H. of Plymouth, New Hampshire; Mrs. Lester MAXWELL of Charles City, Iowa; Mrs. Sam BOUGHNER, Mrs Bonnie BASHAM and Edward G., of Fairfield; and seventeen grandchildren and four great grand children; one brotherm, Howard HENDERSON of Elmer, Mo.; and one sister, Mrs. Mary RODGERS of Minnesota; two brothers, John and Joe passed away a few years ago.
The deceased was a member of the Christian church of this city and passed to her reward at the Jefferson County hospital January 14, 1929.
Mrs. FLIGG was all that the word Mother means, always loving and kind in joy or sorrow, ready to lend the helping hand to all and always purring herself last(.) She lived her quiet simple devoted life, loved by all who knew her.
Funeral services were conducted from the Hoskins funeral home on Thursday forenoon at ten o'clock in charge of Rev. R. H. Polly. Mrs. William Stever and Mrs. Norwell (sic) Switzer with Miss Reva Patten at the piano, sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Going Down the Valley."
The pallbearers were men from the E. G. Fligg grocery store, they were: U. S. Cochran, Roy Hendricks, Keith FLIGG, Lawrence Roth, Gus Schillerstrom and Herbert Killion.
Burial was in Evergreen cemetery.
