Nat. McGiffin died in Great Falls, Mont., Sunday. One of five children of Mr. and Mrs. Thos. McGiffin; two of whom survive him, Mrs. Emma McLean who lives west of Fairfield, and Abner whose home is at Stockett, Mont. May 16 1877 married May Junkin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Junkin. Six children, five living: Thomas, Elizabeth, Grace, Don and William. Mrs. McGiffin died in 1898. Funeral services in Stanford, Mont. Tuesday.

NAT. McGIFFIN DIED IN MONTANA SUNDAY AFTERNOON
Word was received in this city Sunday of the death of Nat. McGIFFIN, which occurred in the Deaconess hospital in Great Falls, Montana, that day. Death followed an operation for appendicitis, which was performed Tuesday.
Mr. McGIFFIN was for many years a resident of Jefferson county, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McGIFFIN, who lived west of this city on the old McGIFFIN homestead. He was one of five children, two of whom survive him. Mrs. Emma McLEAN, who lives west of Fairfield and Abner, whose home is at Stockett, Montana. On May 16, 1877 deceased was united in marriage with May JUNKIN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. JUNKIN. To this union were born six children, five of whom are living, Thomas, Elizabeth, Grace, Don and William. Mrs. McGIFFIN passed away in 1898.
Mr. McGIFFIN lived a clean, good life throughout, and the memory of his many good deeds will remain always with this children and his friends. The sorrow at the passing of a father is inexpressible.
Funeral services will be held at Stanford, Montana, Tuesday.
