William Dempsey WILSON, 83, died last evening at Libertyville. An old resident of Jefferson County, born in Des Moines Twp. Apr. 1, 1848. Wife died several years ago.

Two children, a son, Rev. James A. WILSON, Mystic, and a daughter Mrs. A. B. WILLIAMS who lives with her father at Libertyville.

William Dempsey WILSON, son of Hugh and Eliza BOYD WILSON, born Des Moines Twp., Jefferson Co., Iowa, Apr. 1, 1848. Married Marinda POLLOCK Sept. 22, 1869. Three sons, the eldest dying in infancy, James Allen, and Harry, the latter died at the age of 5 years. Wife died Nov. 8, 1873.

On Feb. 4, 1875, he married Mary Carryline LAUGHLIN. To this union a daughter, Anna Belle.... Leaves also a foster child.... five grandchildren (names and addresses), two sisters, Mrs. Caroline STOKES and Mrs. Elvira J. ARMSTRONG, both of Libertyville.... Fell Cemetery.
