DIED -- At her home, near Libertyville, Iowa, Mrs. Elizabeth VAUGHT, aged 79 years... She was greatly beloved, and had lived as a consistent Christian and member of the M.E. church for 60 years. Her home was noted for hospitality and often under her roof the weary itinerant found refreshment and rest...

She was born in Clark County, Indiana, and was married to Wm. VAUGHT, Sept. 5, 1827. They emigrated to Iowa, and settled near Libertyville in the year 1851... husband preceded her several years ago.... (sic - in 1881)
