Susan TROUT, born Jan. 2, 1821, in Cumberland County, Pa., died at the home of her son, Israel TROUT, at Libertyville, Iowa, May 11, 1900. She came with her parents to Mason Co., Ill., in 1844; married William TROUT Aug. 28, 1849.

Five children, three of whom now living. George, the eldest, resides in Hardin Co., Iowa; Israel, the second son, in this place, and Aaron in Eldridge, N.D.. Her husband died Aug. 31, 1873, in his 59th year... Fell Cemetery.
