Harley M. THOMPSON, 74, former resident of this community, died Sat. in Ypsilanti, Mich.. Heart attack. Last rites and burial in Ypsilanti today.

Born June 28, 1894, near Birmingham, son of Wyatt and Minnie THOMPSON; made his home in Fairfield for a number of years, operated a grocery store at 503 W. Jackson; married Sadie CORNELL who died in 1952 (sic - 1955). Remarried in 1963 and wife Frances survives; also one stepdaughter Mrs. Floyd PINNELL, Ypsilanti; two sisters, Mrs. Leslie (Edna) MENDENHALL, Taneyville, Mo., and Mrs. V. E. (Esther) CHAMP, Fairfield.
