Rex Barton TAYLOR, 4 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell TAYLOR of near Libertyville, died at St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa last evening following an appendix operation. Davidson Funeral Parlors at Batavia. Fell Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Olen BARTHELOW, Merrill BARTHELOW, Kenneth STEWART and Raymond BOOTH. Survived by parents and one sister, Mary Marguerite, four grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. McCLURE of Ottumwa, and Mr. and Mrs. M. F. TAYLOR of Libertyville.
