Page 1, Column 1James S. STANSBERRY, 52, died suddenly this morning.... In Fairfield. Farmer... living near Libertyville....
Born Oct. 30, 1894, in Libertyville, son of the late John T. and Mary Ella TROUT STANSBERRY. He lived in this community all his life and was well known in the county. At time of death lived on a farm about a mile s.e. of Libertyville. He married Rhea BYERS on Sept. 10, 1916, and was a member of the Methodist Church in Libertyville.
Survived by wife and children: John H., serving in the Navy at Cuba; Robert L., also in the Navy, serving on a hospital ship at China; Kathaleen, Fairfield; Mrs. Thelma ROLAND, Washington; Jeannette at home; brothers and sisters: R.W. STANSBERRY, Libertyville; Fred STANSBERRY, LaPorte, Indiana; Mrs. T. J. MOSS, Sigourney, and Mrs. Gaila NELSON, Roseville, Illinois. Behner Funeral Home.
