Lyle SMUTZ, 19, drowned in Walton Lake last night... Lyle Keith SMUTZ, born March 15, 1945, at Washington, Iowa, son of Keith and Lillie LEWIS SMUTZ; reared and educated in the Libertyville community and grad. FHS 1963. Member Libertyville Methodist Church and was employed at the White T Super Market in Fairfield at the time of his death.

Survived by his parents, two sisters, Mrs. Kenneth WHITHAM, Fairfield; Diana, at home; one brother, Darrell, at home; grandparents, Mrs. Helen LEWIS, Libertyville, and Mr. and Mrs. Harley SMUTZ, Fairfield. Preceded in death by his grandfather Perry LEWIS... Burial will be in Fell Cemetery at Libertyville.
