Chester A. REED, 64, died Friday noon after suffering a heart attack at his home, 803 W. Broadway. He was a retired farmer and dairyman. Behner Funeral Home. Burial in Fell Cemetery near Libertyville.

Born April 28, 1906, in Jefferson County, son of Agustus and Annie KELLER REED; married June 12, 1941, Vermith TEDROW.

Surviving are widow; two stepsons, Gerald TEDROW, Fairfield, and Rex TEDROW, Libertyville; and five grandchildren. Four brothers and two sisters also survive: Ralph REED, Salina, Kan.; Earl and Elvin REED, Fairfield; Verne REED, Sacramento, Calif.; Pearl REED, Council Bluffs; and Mrs. Gladys BEHNER, Fairfield. Veteran of WWII and member of FOE (sic - Fraternal Order of Eagles).
