Died, Apr. 3, 1884, at her residence near County Line, Iowa, Mrs. Hannah POLAND aged 68 years.

Mrs. POLAND was born Sept. 24, 1816, in Hampton (Hampshire, W.Va.?) County, Va.. She was married to her now bereaved husband, Robert POLAND, Jan. 30, 1838. They removed to Iowa in 1844. Mrs. POLAND was one of the old settlers of Iowa, and endured the hardships incident to pioneer life... M.E. Church....

Note: Buried in Fell Cemetery. Husband Robert married September 18, 1884, to Cornelia E. MORROW and died in 1901; he is buried with Hannah.
