Page 2, Column 4M. CHANDLER BURIED HERE.
The remains of the late Monte (Montie) CHANDLER who died last Tuesday at Goodland, Kansas, arrived in this city last night accompanied by his widow, Mrs. Margaret CHANDLER, and a brother Charles CHANDLER of Packwood, who went to Kansas several days ago.
Short funeral services were held at the Davies' Undertaking Parlors by Rev. A. H. Lathrop at eleven o'clock this morning, and interment was made at Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. CHANDLER formerly resided near Packwood was well known all over the county. Some twenty years ago he went to Kansas where he has since resided.
