Ellis PEEBLER, Former County Resident, Dies

Ellis H. PEEBLER, 64, former resident of Jefferson County, died last Friday at Veterans' Hospital in Roseburg, Ore. He was a resident of Medford, Ore.

Last rites will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fell cemetery near Libertyville.

PEEBLER was born June 29, 1901 near Batavia, the son of F.W. (Dan) and Margaret RODIBAUGH PEEBLER. He was reared and educated in Jefferson county. He was married to Mae WATSON in Fairfield Nov. 18, 1919.

PEEBLER was a veteran of World War I and a Mason. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Jack PEEBLER, Sacramento, Calif.; and Robert PEEBLER, Galveston, Texas. Three grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Waren DAVIS and Mrs. Donald JAMES, both of Batavia, also survive
