BATAVIA. Mrs. Irene C. PEARSON, 80, native of Jefferson County, died Sun. 6:30 P.M. at Jefferson County Hospital. Campbell Funeral Chapel in Batavia; burial in Fell Cemetery.

Born Dec. 12, 1888, in Jefferson County, daughter of Harrson and Sarah HUTTON OLIVER; married Rayburn PEARSON July 29, 1908, and spent most of her live in Jefferson County. Husband died 1959. She had lived on a farm s.w. of Libertyville for many years and in Batavia since 1947.

Survivors include one son, Silas, of Lansing, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Paul WITT, Libertyville, and Mrs. Richard MOTTET, Tucson, Ariz.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Nora ROGERS, Mrs. Mabel BROWN, Mrs. Verne THOMAS, all of Eldon; Mrs. Josephine DeVAULT, Libertyville; Mrs. Margaret PALMER, Nevada, Mo., and one brother Abraham OLIVER, Wisconsin. Preceded in death by two sisters, one brother and two infant sons.
