Page 3, Column 3William Roland MOORE, son of the late Robert B. and Mrs. Martha J. MOORE, died in Denver, Col., May 8th, after an illness of several years.
He was born at Freeport, Ill., May 26, 1854, and came to this county with his parents when a mere child. The earlier years of his life were spent at Libertyville and Batavia, where the father was a merchant. Mr. MOORE was a traveling salesman for about 20 years, representing such firms as P. J. Sorg of Ohio. Failing health compelled him to quit the road, and he had since resided in Denver.... He was a sober, industrious, honest man, highly respected by employers and friends and will be very generally mourned...
The remains arrived in this city Friday, accompanied by the mother and a brother, James W., and were interred in the Fell Cemetery at Libertyville Saturday.
