MILLER FUNERAL TO BE SATURDAY.

Fred D. MILLER, well known resident of this community, passed away Wednesday at 5:40 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital following a serious illness of the past ten days. Last rites will be Sat. at 1:30 p.m. at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church, s.w. of Libertyville, with Rev. Elton Coleman in charge. Interment will be in Fell Cemetery near Libertyville. Pedrick Funeral Home at Douds.

Fred D. MILLER was born Nov. 25, 1887, son of Hiel and Elizabeth MOYER MILLER. He was born s.w. of Libertyville and spent his entire life on a farm there. On Jan. 14, 1919, married Lucile TURNIPSEED who survives.

Also survived by children: Mrs. Lindley BISSIG, Fairfield; Mrs. Olen BARTHOLOW, Libertyville; Mrs. Wayne BOLEY, Keosauqua; and Fred MILLER, Jr., of West Union, Iowa; 6 grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Mabel OVERTURFF, and a brother, Clyde MILLER, Libertyville. He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant son, a brother and two sisters. Lifelong member of Mt. Zion Methodist Church.
