Death of Mrs. George W. McCLAIN at her home in Buchanan Township, in the 65th year of her age.

Born Rebekah Jane McNEIL in Clermont Co., Ohio; married Jan. 30, 1851, came to Iowa in the spring of 1861. Mother of seven children: Frances J. (m. Chas. HOOPES); Marshal E.; Albert Turpin; Robert Tell; Lovey Luella; Lucy and Charles D.. Of these, R.T., Lucy and Chas. D. survive....

Died, at her home in Lockridge Twp., on Fri., June 17, Mrs. Geo. W. McCLAIN in the 64th year of her age.

Rebekah Jane McNEIL was born in Clermont Co., Ohio, Apr. 28, 1828. M.E. Church. Married George W. McCLAIN Jan. 30, 1851. In the spring of 1861 they came to Iowa and settled on the homestead where she spent the remainder of her days.

Seven children: Francis J., Marshall E., Albert T.; Robert T.; Lovey L.; Lucy and Charles D., of whom Robert T., Lucy, and Charles D. remain at the old homestead.....
