Wednesday, May 17, 1944Mrs. Ada B. LEEDY, well known former resident of Fairfield and Libertyville, died Tues. at the Georgetown Hospital in Washington, D.C.. Had been making her home for the past two years with her daughter Miss Nelle ANDERSON, a government employee in Washington.
Surviving are three daughters, Miss ANDERSON and Mrs. Basil SWAILES, both of Washington, D.C., and Mrs. David TEDROW of Libertyville....

LEEDY, daughter of Johnson and Elizabeth LAUGHLIN, was born Oct. 14, 1866, in Jefferson County, Iowa, and died May 16, 1944, in Washington, D.C.; married in 1886 Joseph ANDERSON who died May 31, 1894, at Libertyville, Iowa. To this union two daughters, Mrs. David A. TEDROW, Libertyville, and Miss Nelle D. ANDERSON, Washington, D.C..
In 1902 married Luther LEEDY, who died in Libertyville in Jan., 1922; one daughter, Mrs. Lucille E. SWAILES, Beltsville, Md.. Also surviving are six grandchildren. Presbyterian Church. Fell Cemetery.
