Mrs. W. G. LAWSON, Libertyville, died yesterday. Survived by husband and one son, Emery, at home. Mrs. Manerva LAWSON of this city, a sister, also survives.

OBITUARY

MARY ALICE MILLS LAWSON

Mary Alice MILLS was born near Fairfield, Ia. Aug. 11, 1855. She was called to the life beyond on May 1, 1932, aged 76 years and 8 months and 20 days. She had lived her entire life in Jefferson county.

January 25, 1877, she was united in marriage to William G. LAWSON of near Libertyville, Ia. To this union was born one son, Emery R. LAWSON of Libertyville, Ia.

In 1895, she united with the Methodist Protestant church at Union, and in Marcy, 1915 she with her husband transferred her membership to the First M. E. church of Libertyville, Ia., where she remained a faithful member until death.

She was a loving and faithful wife and mother and a friend and neighbor to all who knew her. To know her was to love her.

She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, two sisters and four brothers.

Besides her husband and son, she leaves two sisters, Mrs. Minerva LAWSON of near Libertyville, Ia., Mrs. Sarah M. NEVIN of Winterset, Ia. and a great number of other relatives and friends to mourn our loss, Heaven's gain.

Funeral services were conducted in the Libertyville Methodist church, Tuesday, April 3 at 1:30 p.m. by Rev. I. R. Magers and burial was in the Fell cemetery.

The pall bearers were J. W. Hill, W. A. Robertson, Ira Peebler, Ed Williams, A. J. Stewart and Clifton Israel.
