OBIT. Mrs. Celina KIRKPATRICK died at her home near Libertyville Dec. 15th aged 79-6-9.

Born in Louden Co., Va., June 6, 1814. Removed to Ohio when 14, where she grew to womanhood and was married to Samuel KIRKPATRICK Feb. 18, 1832. Nine children. Husband and four children have died. Three sons died in the service of their country. Two sons and three daughters remain... M.E. Ch. She, with her husband, came to Iowa in 1840, settling on the farm in Jefferson County where she died.

Note: Her obituary refers to her as Celina, while her gravestone is Ceclena. Buried in Fell Cemetery with husband Samuel who died in 1885.
